BYU vs MSU

You guys. College football is a serious thing in the South.
Like soooo serious that our neighbor warned us against hanging a BYU flag when they play Tennessee or our house would get egged and vandalized. And he wasn't even joking...

Justin was happy to fully embrace football culture and got us tickets to the BYU vs. MSU game in Starkville, Mississippi.
We made a trip of it and stayed a couple of nights in an Airbnb in town. The alumni association in the area planned a tailgate before the game which featured meeting the BYU mascot, a performance by the BYU cheerleaders, and Chic-fil-a.
Walking to the stadium was INSANE. Miles and miles and miles of tailgaters and crimson for days. We had nose bleed seats, which ended up being a huge blessing because I was able to find a sliver of shade and a backrest to keep my pregnant body happy in the 100+ degree and 10000000% humidity weather.
Although BYU got crushed to smithereens, we had an insanely fun time! I drank my body weight in Diet Coke. Justin got his football high. And we both came together on our mutual hatred of the MSU cowbells. Please may I never hear another cowbell again in my life?
