39 cents well spent

 I snatched these little beauties off of the 75% clearence rack at
Target.
With an old $5 dollar gift card from mother
my total turned out to be
a whopping
thirty nine cents.
Done.

I've also been to the dentist every day so far this week.
Normally, I would find this glorious
because I secretly love the dentist!
New toothbrush.
Super clean teeth.
And since I'm still young enough to go to a children't dentistry office
I got to watch Megamind.
Bombsauce?  Yes.
Since I am a religious flosser
slash
compulsively brush 3 times (or more) a day,
typically a trip to the dentist is like a walk in the park.
So, 
you can imagine how horrified I was to discover that
I had
not one.
not two.
but THREE cavities.
*hangs head in shame*


To make matters even worse,
I had an allergic reaction to the anesthetic
SOOOO....
one chipmunkish looking cheek
and a horribly sore mouth later,
and I have had a grand excuse to do a whole lot of nothing the last 2 days.


Besides...

finding a wonderful use for those thrifted Mason jars. 

NOT finishing packing for Jerusalem. 

Working on the bumload of sewing projects piled up in my room.
I have a quarter of my Christmas gifts (almost) ready to go.
And it's August.
No big deal...

And eating a ton or two of Smart Cow.
(As I'm currently incapable of eating most other things that require any usage of the teeth.)
Let's just say that me and watermelon sorbet were BFF's today.
