The past few weeks of warm weather has finally made us believe that summer is here to stay!
And it can't really be summer until after the first fire of the season.
We were so grateful for a long weekend after a few hectic weeks.
The mister and I took a quick road trip to Colorado,
which gave us the opportunity for some quality family bonding time.
When the Thunell, Decker, and Nelson families collide, it defiantly makes for a fun/crazy evening.
We grilled, built a fire, and made s'mores.
Oh summer, how we have missed you!
And all your graham crackery, marshmallowy, Reese's peanut buttery goodness.
(Much to my anti-peanut butter husband's dismay, I always choose to make my s'mores with peanut butter cups rather than traditional Hershey's)
Wish you two were here now. I would make home made ice cream -- maybe in August. Miss you!
