MAYOR ON WHEELS finally happened!
We had nearly 50 mayors participate this year, which was an absolutely incredible turnout.
I was so honored to deliver meals with the mayor of Cedar Hills.
You should have seen the senior's faces beaming when a local celebrity showed up on their doorstep!
The goals of the Meals on Wheels program not only include delivering nutritious meals to homebound seniors, but giving them a reason to smile every single day.
No matter how old you are, how far away your family may live, how creaky your bones and joints, or how loose your dentures...everyone should have a reason to smile.
Every single day.
I adore working with these wonderful people!
This internship is certainly turning out to be the experience of a lifetime!
